Purpose of group

Angus Community Planning Partnership

To steer the implementation of community planning in Angus.

Angus Economic Development Partnership

To encourage the development of a prosperous and sustainable economy which supports rewarding job opportunities in viable businesses and pays due regard to maintaining the quality of environment and culture

Angus Lifelong Learning Partnership

To provide first class education and training opportunities for all.

Angus Healthy Safe and Caring Communities Partnership

To improve the health of the community, promote the development of primary health based provision; and to maintain a safe environment for all people in Angus.

To improve the social well-being of the community and promote the development of preventative child care services.

Angus Chief Officers Joint Group

Health Improvement and Community Safety Group

To improve the health and well-being, and to reduce health inequalities, of individuals and communities throughout Angus.

Angus Drug and Alcohol Action Team

The DAAT is the community planning partnership structure dealing with issues relating to the use of drugs and alcohol.

Joint Management and Commissioning Group - Health and Community Care

To address issues relating to the provision of community care services, including care and treatment, to older people, people with mental health problems, people with disabilities, people with drug and alcohol problems, people affected by HIV and AIDS and Carers.

Joint Management and Commissioning Group - Children's Services

To promote Childrens Services by promoting and overseeing the Angus Childrens Services Plan.

Angus Environment Forum

To secure an excellent quality of environment in towns, the countryside and coast.
