To improve the social well-being of the community and promote the development of preventative child care services.

Introduction to the Healthy, Safe and Caring Communities Partnership

The Healthy, Safe and Caring Communities Partnership was established in 2002 to provide direction and co-ordinate and oversee the work of the four sub groups of Health Improvement and Community Safety, Drugs and Alcohol and the Joint Management and Commissioning Groups for Health and Community Care and Children's Services.
