What would make Angus a better place to live in? Contact the Angus Community Planning Partnership and give us your thoughts. Angus Community Planning Partners provide numerous opportunities for members of the public to contribute to the work that they do. This section provides details of current research and consultation exercises, many of which you can comment on, and those that have been completed in recent years. They also provide links to Scottish Executive consultations.
|
| In addition to these exercises there are many other ways in which you can get involved. You can get in touch with your local Councillor, participate in Local Area Partnerships, contact your local Community Council, join the Angus Citizens' Panel, and comment on Planning Applications. The Community Learning and Development Service encourages community action and is central in helping young people participate in the Angus Youth Congress and Young Scot Angus. The Angus Council Consultation and Research page provides further information on the coordination of these various initiatives. |

National Standards for Community Engagement Communities Scotland has led a national project to develop standards for community engagement and Angus Community Planning Partnership participated in this project. It is intended that the standards will be used in a community planning context, however, the definition of the standards for community engagement currently relate to standing groups. It is, therefore, the view of the Angus Community Planning Partnership that these standards can be applied where there is a standing group, for example, local area partnerships, community of interest groups etc. Click here to visit the website for the National Standards for Community Engagement |
