2003/04 Achievements
  • To finalise the Active Citizenship Strategy – achieved. Action Plan currently being implemented.
  • To finalise the Social Inclusion Strategy – draft strategy to be considered by the Angus Community Planning Partnership in February 2004.
  • To finalise the Community Planning Communications Strategy – achieved. Action Plan currently being implemented.
  • To consider the rationalisation of current strategies and plans in light of the developing community planning and local economic forum processes – Thematic Partnership groups currently considering.
  • To develop actions arising from objectives in the Economic Development Strategy – Angus Economic Development Partnership page.
  • To extend the work of the Angus Community Learning Partnership to take account of the full implications and needs arising from the Scottish Executive’s Lifelong Learning Strategy for Scotland – Community Learning and Development Partnership to extend focus of work to Lifelong Learning. Development of a research project under consideration.
  • Continued development of the Joint Health Improvement Plan which will include agreeing joint actions around the priorities set out from the Health Improvement and Community Safety Partnership – refer to Health Improvement and Community Safety Group page.
  • To work with thematic partnership groups to develop SMART (Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic and Timed) targets against agreed priorities for partnership work – achieved – refer to "thematic groups" page.
  • To develop a comprehensive set of performance indicators and a formal reporting process on those indicators – achieved top level refer to Angus Community Planning Progress Report & Review Performance Report (PDF 491K).
  • Development of agreed protocols for inter-agency data sharing – achieved in relation to joint futures. Agreement to explore further in relation to risk management.
  • To further develop arrangements for involving local community representatives and individuals in the community planning process – steady progress in this area.
