Forfar Energy Awareness Day - Saturday 17 October 2009

With the recent floods in Angus and the promise of higher energy bills in the coming months, the issues of climate change, the environment, personal finance and energy efficiency are again coming to the fore.

In response to this, the Forfar and Area Partnership, with support from Angus Council and the Angus Community Planning Partnership have organised the first ever Forfar Energy Awareness Day. This event is taking place on Saturday 17 October from 10am until 3pm in the Reid Hall. The event is open to everyone, particularly those individuals, community groups and businesses who are seeking to reduce their monthly outgoings, reduce their impact on the environment or generally find out more information about these important issues.

For more information on this event, or about the Partnership, please contact Lee Haxton, Rural Community Planning Officer on 01575 576941 or haxtonl@angus.gov.uk.
