- National Outcome No. 6 - "We live longer, healthier lives"

- The Group will be chaired by the General Manager of Angus Community Health Partnership (ACHP) with administrative support from Tayside Public Health Directorate and planning and performance support from the Health Improvement Partnership Manager.
- Representation on the AHIAG will be drawn from members of NHS Tayside, Angus Council, Tayside Fire and Rescue, the Voluntary Sector and Angus CHP, all of whom have made a joint commitment to improve and protect the health and wellbeing of all people living within Angus.
- Cross cutting issues will be addressed within the Joint Strategic Support Unit and also by the chairs of the sub-committees of Healthy Safe and Caring Communities Partnership, i.e. Children's Services sub-group for Health, Angus Alcohol & Drug Partnership (ADP) alongside the other lead thematic partnership groups which are supported by the Angus Health Improvement Team.
